This program evolves out of the heart of its producer and host,

Dr. Minnie Claiborne, Ph.D. LHD.

Dr. Claiborne has been in the ministry for over thirty-five years and her Television and Radio Ministries span over thirty years. She is an ordained minister, with a commission by the Lord, Jesus Christ to help bring His healing to people who are hurting emotionally.

Dr. Claiborne has 5 earned degrees, and a wealth of personal experiences that allow her to speak with conviction, on many issues. She is a Christian Counselor/Therapist, Life Coach, and Professor who sees first-hand, the great need for a Christian response to today’s issues.

LET’S TALK ABOUT IT explores topics that are not always addressed in traditional church settings, but which plague our society, the church included.

The statistics for depression, suicide, homosexuality, divorce, pornography, abortion, adultery, domestic violence, addictions and other social ills are often just as high in the church community as in the rest of the population.

Dr. Claiborne knows that one of the key reasons is that the traditional church anathematized Psychology, but failed to fill the void with Luke 4:18 - Jesus came to heal the broken-hearted. The ‘traumas of the soul’ are left unhealed, untouched, often unacknowledged. (Dr. Claiborne discusses this in detail in her book, “PRAYER THERAPY STOP HURTING”.) 

Her show issues this challenge:

“Let’s talk about it, so God can help us with it.”

 She encourages Christians and people of faith to take advantage of the resources in the Body of Christ that will help them to overcome the hurts, pains, disappointments, abuses and traumas that have kept them from the freedom, peace and joy that is possible. God’s will for us is wholeness: spirit, soul and body (Thess.5:23) and particularly MENTAL and EMOTIONAL wholeness (Luke 4:18, Isaiah 53:4).

The show is topic driven rather than personality driven; however we seek out the best authorities that we have access to, who can shed light on the topics; some are ‘celebrities’ and people of notoriety, others are not. You’ll find the show compelling, exciting, challenging, educational and eye-opening.

So many Christians are HURTING - leaders as well as laity. Consequently many are suffering physical ailments, mental breakdowns, pre-mature death, public scandal, humiliation, personal and family brokenness and more.
What's worse is the church community does not want to talk about it, so solutions that are available are often not accesible. I want to talk about it, so that God can help us with it.
